We’re all about making a big difference by doing something simple, giving cars to people who really need them the most. It’s amazing how a car can open up so many opportunities for someone, like access to getting a job, getting to school, accessing medical care, or just making life easier. We want to help people access these things by combining our Christian faith, love of cars, and providing a reliable mode of transportation to those in need.

Taylor
Taylor is Mark’s lovely wife and assistant. Her support helps drive this Non-Profit along with her Motherhood in raising good honest children to make a positive impact the next generation!

A family on a mission!
Mark, with the support of his beautiful wife and team player Taylor, are Pennsylvania natives and Mark being one of thirteen siblings, learned the value of hard work and community at quite a young age. This foundation shaped his life, guiding him towards his passion for cars. Spending hours on driving, modifying, and rebuilding, Mark transformed his hobby into well over a decade-long venture of flipping cars. Beyond his automotive interests, Mark’s deep Christian faith lead him to ask God how he could do his part and be Jesus’s hands and feet in giving back to the community. This led him to establish Be Still Motors, a name he chose from one of his favorite verses (Psalm 46:10) this is a unique blend of his passion for cars and his desire to give back to the community. Be Still Motors goes beyond a simple non-profit; it’s a Jesus lead mission of giving, offering reliable transportation to those in need and embodying Mark’s vision of kindness, skill, and faith in action.

Mark's Story - From Driveway Repairs to Car Giveaways
A Humble Beginning
Growing up in a big Mennonite family with 13 siblings, Mark learned the value of hard work and family support. From a young age he, along with his brothers and sisters, worked to help the family, teaching him the importance of contributing to a greater cause. This early experience of teamwork, responsibility, and hard work laid a strong foundation for his morals and work ethic.
Exploring Rebuilding Cars
In his late teens and early twenties, Mark turned his driveway into a workshop, where his passion for cars was firmly established. He learned that he can buy wrecked cars, rebuild them, and eventually sell the cars, maintaining a consistent rotation of different cars he can drive. This phase of his life, while initially a personal pursuit, laid the groundwork for this exact non-profit.
Entrepreneur Grind
Mark also ventured into entrepreneurship with “H2Oasis”, the water feature landscaping business that he started up. With the help of his brother Andre. The two of them built, repaired, and modified ponds and waterfalls on a highly professional level. This service was provided at high quality and in record time due to the strong work ethic engrained in the duo serving the good people of Central Pennsylvania.
A Passion Ignited
Parallel to growing his business, Mark’s hobby of buying, rebuilding, and selling R title cars continued to grow. He was rebuilding a flipping several cars per year as a part time hobby durring the cold season (you can’t build waterfalls and ponds when everything is frozen!). Often collaborating with some of his brothers. He was doing things in a fraction of the time that was considered possible. Mark’s work ethic once again makes him stand out from the crowd.
A Mission of Faith
With the support of his Wife and influence of his Christian faith, Mark envisioned a new purpose for his passions. He sought to integrate his passion for cars with a greater calling, leading him towards philanthropy. It was here that his personal journey turned into a much broader mission, combining his love for cars with his desire to give back while also bringing much of his family into the mix.

Taylor brings a profound passion for authenticity and connection to Be Still Motors. Her faith and personal journey with Jesus have deeply influenced her, providing stability and meaning through life’s challenges. At Be Still Motors, she channels this foundation into sharing the powerful stories of others. Taylor’s role in conducting interviews is driven by a commitment to uncovering the deep significance in each story, engaging with compassion and aiming to highlight the transformative power of personal experiences.
Driving this Non-Profit
Bringing us to today, Mark is focused on growing his nonprofit with a big aim: to donate 1,000 cars. This mission combines his deep-rooted passion for cars with a strong drive to help others, showing his evolution from a car-loving teen to a leader who wants to make a real difference. Alongside inspiring his family and community, he’s also setting an example for his online followers, showcasing the impact one person’s dedication can have.
